Use the ocean and coast as your creative studio to create artwork inspired by the sea and communicate its stories.
Students will work with experts to explore Wood Island and the surrounding waterways through a variety of projects and mediums.
From workshop to open water, designing and deploying real-world ocean technology.
Working with expert engineers, students will build their own ocean sensor logging buoys, deploy them in the ocean, and collect real data.
Exploring underwater ecosystems through underwater drones and marine science!
Students will pilot underwater robots, identify plankton using microscopes and DIY plankton nets, visit Wood Island, and explore the waters of Maine alongside professional engineers and scientists!
